EventMeta

Routing metadata attached to every dispatched event.

Tells handlers which event fired, when, on which network, and where it came from (websocket, http, grpc, or a locally-emitted local).

Properties

event: string

The exact event name as it appeared on the wire.

timestamp: number

Unix timestamp (ms) when the event entered the manager.

optional requestId?: string

Correlated request id when the event is a reply to a request.

optional networkId?: string

Network identifier the event arrived on, when multi-network is in use.

source: "local" | "http" | "websocket" | "grpc"

The transport (or local) that produced the event.
