Lifecycle status of a FilePreview upload.
Transitions: PENDING (after construction) → UPLOADING (request
in flight) → optionally PROCESSING (server post-processing) →
COMPLETED on success, ERROR on failure, or CANCELLED when the
caller aborts. FileManager drives these transitions.
